The Story

In the past, the Great War ripped the world apart and caused all its races and species to fall into oblivion – all but the human race. Now, a thousand years later, a second Great War fueled by revenge is coming - only the humans of this day and age are no where near prepared for what they thought was only myth and legend.

The Creator

Born and raised in Chicago, Ashley A. Woods' desire to create began when she was small. Over the years, she crafted her own unique style to fit her personality. Creator of the action-fantasy comic series, "Millennia War", Ashley has gained a fan base and has been interviewed in the independent magazine, "UVC" (Urban Voices in Comics). She has also sold her comics at many conventions and has appeared as a guest artist at ECBACC (East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention) May 2008, "Out of Sequence: Underrepresented Voices in American Comics" at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and in Kyoto, Japan November 2008 where her work was featured along with other artists, and "Beyond the Frame: African American Comic Book Artists" from January – April 2009 at the Flint Institute of Arts. Besides comic-related art, Ashley has also worked as a concept and storyboard artist.

The Co-Writer

A native of the south side of Chicago, Michael A. Smith II is a writer and aspiring movie director/actor. As a young boy, he was known for his imaginative ideas and creative drive. During his senior year of high-school, Michael joined the "young broadcasters" program in University Park where he excelled and graduated earning himself a certification in Technical Directing as well as receiving the award for "Best Technical Director". During his years at Columbia College Chicago, he served as an extra in features such as "Barbershop 2", "Fred Claus", "Derailed" and the pilot episode of "Prison Break". In 2006 Michael met Ashley A. Woods and the two became instant friends. Soon after that, Ashley took notice of Michael's knack for storytelling, thus she invited him to become the co-writer of her "Millennia War" comic series. Currently Michael continues to write and film short movies all the while accompaning Ashley at various conventions to promote their comic, "Millennia War".
